<p>What are the right weight loss workouts? Your own meridians probably will let you know the answer you have been looking for, according to the meridian theory of Chinese medicine.</p>
<p><strong>Weight loss workouts and meridians</strong></p>
<p>As we know that poor eating habits and lack of exercise tends to lead to overweight. However, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), overweight is something associated with our meridians and internal conditions. Different types of meridian imbalance can lead to different types of overweight. In other words, certain overweight requires its own right meridian-based weight loss workout.</p>

<p>Both of liver and gall-bladder have the function of detoxification. Bile helps digest fats and fresh blood and Qi can expel the wastes and toxins from our bodies.</p>
<p>Weight loss workouts recommended:</p>
<ul>
<li>Massage the liver meridian located in inner thighs. Specifically, each night push with palm from upper thigh to the knee nearby about 100 times;</li>
<li>Massage or knock the gall-bladder meridians located in inner thigh with empty fist. Please note that the power needs to penetrate into the muscles and you need to feel a little bit of numbness when knocking along the acupuncture points of Yanglingquan (GB34);</li>
<li>Lie on the floor and knock around Belt Channel (around waist) for about 100 times each day. This weight loss workout can get rid of the fat around waist.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Weight loss workout two: imbalance of Spleen &amp; Stomach Meridians</strong></p>

<p><strong>Overweight causes</strong></p>
<p>From the point of view of Chinese medicine, the pathogenic cold attacking the body can slow down the blood circulation, and then blood can be deposited to form a blood stasis, which is caused by the above-mentioned exterior blockage.</p>

<p><strong>What are the five elements? </strong></p>
<p>According to Traditional Chinese medicine, five elements are gold, wood, water, fire and earth. It is a cycled mechanism, in which elements mutually reinforce and neutralize each other: the wood connect to the liver, the fire to the heart, the earth to the spleen, the gold to the lung, and the water to the kidney. They interlock each other just like a circle.</p>
<p>One certain person&#8217;s property does not necessarily belong to only one single element. It might be the type of water but partial to earth, or the type of wood partial to fire.</p>
<p><strong>Step One: Inquiry</strong></p>
<p>Which element do you belong to in five elements?</p>
<p>Since it is the therapy according to five elements of Traditional Chinese medicine, of course the first step is the basic <a href="http://chinesemedicinegem.com/diagnosis/the-four-diagnostic-methods/">four diagnostic methods</a> of Chinese medicine, including inspection, smelling and hearing, inquiry, pulse taking and palpation.</p>
<p>Based on the information acquired, the Chinese medicine practitioners can determine which element you are belong to. Also they would check which category of obesity you are in, solid middle or large size, puffiness, or edema in lower extremity. In turn the right medicine formula will be designed to lose weight according the pattern.</p>
<p><strong>Step Two: Acupuncture </strong></p>
<p>Tune the constitution and lose weight in local part.</p>
<p>After determining the type of constitution, then we should tune the constitution to lose weight. <p>Qigong is the process that the practicers use their subjective dynamic will power to exert the human potential, through the training of body adjustment (posture), heart adjustment (ideas) and breath adjustment (breathing), to practise essence, qi and spirit, to refine body’s physiologic function and achieve the goal of physical and mental well-being.
