Shu Di Huang and Sheng Di Huang are the two different forms of Di Huang (Rehmannia). Are they the same thing? Actually although both of them are made of Di Huang, they are quite different from property to the pharmacological effects. Clinically Shu Di Huang can not replace Sheng Di Huang, vice versa.
